- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (to taste)

Recipe
- 1 in a medium saucepan, combine beans, onion,and garlic, and bring to a boil.
- 2 reduce heat to medium-low.
- 3 season with cumin, cilantro, cayenne, and salt.
