Asparagus Piquant

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb asparagus, bias sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds

Recipe

  • 1 steam asparagus and onion for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • 2 in small bowl combine vinegar, sugar, mustard seed.
  • 3 pour vinegar mixture over vegetables; toss to coat.
  • 4 serve immediately.
